See if you can spot Mount Coolum from here!

Mount Ninderry has a rich history and is steeped in legend. According to aboriginal dreamtime lore, the mountain was named after a legendary Aboriginal warrior who abducted a girl named Maroochy and as punishment, he was turned to stone, transforming him into the mountain.

Mount Ninderry was formed through volcanic activity and is the result of hardened remnant rocks. The intermediate walk is 304 metres above sea level which enables views of the Maroochy River. So, why not get up early, climb the trail as day is breaking and watch the sun rise over these breath-taking views.
